Rottweiler Farm

In our farm CATAFIGIO DOGS (est. 1999) we raise F.C.I approved (4/99) top quality Rottweilers, that are mentally healthy, have good temperament and are in great health.
All our Rottweilers are top pedigree. We are concerned about breeding dogs righteously according to the German standard. Our dogs are balanced, courageous and stable, with high drive, good temperament and the right anatomy. Our offspring can take part and compete in any pageant or professional competition.
We are attentive when breeding our dogs and we do not practice close mating. Our breeding stock is based on dogs that have distinctions both in Greece and abroad.

Training

Teach your dog all the commands that make your everyday life easy and enjoy your living with it. With very few basic obedience lessons, you will be able to "talk" to your dog, understand his/her needs and set boundaries where needed.
This way your dog will learn to behave properly very soon, both inside and outside the house. Basic obedience lessons can be adapted to the space you live in, the particularities of each breed and the different daily needs of every owner and dog.

Basic Obedience Training

“Basic obedience ” is the process during which the dog is taught to obey a variety of rules and commands. "Basic obedience" is considered necessary in order to have a harmonious human-dog coexistence in the same space. The dog learns to restrain himself when asked to and to obey some basic commands.

Personal protection

Choosing a dog or cub for personal protection must not be a matter of random selection based on basic knowledge about breeds and their traits. One should seek the help of an experienced trainer who will help him/her decide what type of dog he/she needs, depending on his/her real needs which will be reported to the trainer.

Guard Dog Training

In contrast to many people's false beliefs, a guard dog is not a wild dog. A fierce dog without training will certainly guard a space but a trained guard dog will offer much more. The guard dog is totally composed and balanced. It does not get aggressive for no reason.

Dog Socialization

Help your pet overcome phobias and problem behaviors that stress it out or create aggression and make living with it difficult or even dangerous.

Correcting Dog Behaviour

Dealing with the most common problems faced by owners such as excessive barking, home disasters such as digging and chewing, aggression towards animals and people, pursuit, escaping and wandering in unknown places, jumping on people, food guarding, pulling the leash, overexcitement with visitors etc.

Krikelis Tasos / About me

I was born in 1970 in the village of Katafygio, Karditsa district,Thessaly, Greece. Growing up in an agricultural- farming area I developed strong connection to and love for dogs from a very early age.
For 11 years, from 1987 to 1998 I served as a non-commissioned officer in the Greek Army, but in 1998 I resigned to pursue my dream, which was nothing more than to be professionally involved in dog training and breeding.
I was fortunate enough to study near Richard Carlton, one of the world's leading dog trainers and a Rottweiler breeder.
I graduated from the Anglo-Greek K9 & Law enforcement Academy.
I have attended many dog training seminars, in Greece and abroad by renowned dog trainers (such as the German Anja Jogi ZankHerrmann etc.). I am a member of the Allgemeiner Deutscher Rottweiler-Klub (ADRK) e.V .

Also for 5 years, from 2004 to 2009 I worked as a Welfare Officer in the Department of Recovery and Rehabilitation of Children with Disabilities in Karditsa, where I experienced first hand how a dog can help people with special abilities.
I have a dog breeding license from the F.C.I. Numbered 4/99, named CATAFIGIO DOGS. 

Distinctions
A distinction is equivalent to reward. Thus for us, awards in international competitions are a reward for many years of hard work. So we are proud of that!
